British Riding Clubs – Team Jumping
British Riding clubs have teams of four show jumping at area qualifiers and at championships, this happens as a competition outside the qualifiers as well at various large shows.
So when the opportunity was presented that BRC could hold a national show jumping team competition for juniors and seniors, at Burgham International Horse Trials, Area 2 took on this challenge.
The teams are four riders and horses either senior or junior teams, unfortunately this year not mixed.
The first two riders will ride a course of show jumps with a maximum height of 80cm in the first round and the second two riders will ride a course of show umps with a maximum height of 90cm in the first round.
The second round will consist of the first two riders jumping a course of jumps to a maximum of 85cm and the second two riders jumping a course of jumps to a maximum of 95cm.
If any of the teams have clear rounds, then the jump off course will be jumped at a maximum of 95cm.
The rosettes and prizes will be awarded to the 1st – 6th team.
We look forward to Riding Club members coming to this lovely horse trials in the beautiful setting of Northumberland.
Please note: Stabling if required can be arranged >>
