The organisers of Burgham International Horse Trials are delighted to welcome Hambro Sport Horses as title sponsor of the event and of the principal CCI4*-S class.
Burgham is the North of England’s premier equestrian event, and runs from 28 July-1 August 2021. This year it includes the British National Eventing Championship classes at Open, Intermediate, Novice and Restricted Novice level.
JC and Lexi Hambro’s Hambro Sport Horses venture aims to pair brilliant British riders with a new generation of exceptional British horses. They own exciting young event horses with riders such as Tom Jackson, Alicia Hawker and Becky Heappey. This year they also founded the Hambro Scholarship to assist young riders in making the most of their talent.

However, we are thrilled to be able to welcome spectators back this year to enjoy the top-class sport and a great variety of tradestands, bars and delicious, locally-produced food. Tickets are now on sale, and start from just £3.”
There will be four days of cross-country at Hambro Sport Horses Burgham this year – from Thursday 29 July-Sunday 1 August – giving visitors fantastic opportunities to watch the top British-based riders in action.
The cross-country will be once again be shown live on Horse & Country’s streaming service, H&C+.
